This morning, October 24th, 2013, at 8:30 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Quartz Ln. and E. Wandermere Estates Ln. on a suspicious person call. Deputies searched the area for the suspicious person and eventually found 36-year-old Scott
M. Fraser near the area of Hastings and Guinevere.
Since Fraser matched the driver's description from this morning's pursuit, Deputy Dale Wells was called to the scene. Deputy Wells had been behind Fraser for approximately thirty miles during this morning's pursuit and saw his face multiple times when Fraser
looked out the driver's side window back at him. Deputy Wells positively identified Fraser as the driver of the vehicle.
Fraser has a long criminal history that includes taking motor vehicles without permission, burglary, trespass, reckless endangerment, robbery and other crimes. Fraser was booked into the Spokane County Jail on the charges of Assault 2nd Degree, Felony Eluding,
Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment and Resisting Arrest.
