On August 28th, 2013, Spokane Valley Sheriff's Corporal J. Wakefield responded to the area of 10500 E. Dean Road on a residential burglary call. Corporal Wakefield spoke with the homeowner who told him some time in August the residence was burglarized,
which has been under renovation for several years.
The homeowner said an antique oriental table was taken from the basement. The homeowner said the table was as tall as a coffee table and made for people to sit around. The table had deep hand carvings of people, oceans and ships, was approximately six feet
long and was valued at $30,000. There was also an antique oriental changing shield made of shells missing which was valued at $500. There are no suspects at this time.
