Posted 8/30/2013 3:33 PM by CKCHAMBERLIN

On Tuesday morning, August 27th, at 2:00 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy J. Moffett responded to a residential burglary near 16600 S. Carstens Road. The victim told Deputy Moffett a white male entered her residence holding a rifle, said he needed help and stole her 2005 Chevrolet Trail Blazer.

Yesterday, August 29th, The Spokane City Police Department located 21-year-old Bradley Graves near the 300 block of South Haven. He was taken into custody for unrelated, outstanding warrants and the stolen vehicle from the Carstens incident was found near the residence.

Spokane County Sheriff's Office detective T. Hansen interviewed Graves about the Carstens incident as he had developed information Graves was the suspect in the burglary and vehicle theft. Graves admitted to entering the residence and stealing the Trail Blazer. Detective Hansen was also able to prove Graves stole the firearm he had with him at the Carstens address.

• Graves was booked into the Spokane County Jail on the unrelated warrants and new charges from the Carstens Road incident that include 1st Degree Burglary, Taking a Motor Vehicle Without Permission, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm (Graves is a convicted felon), and Theft of a Firearm.
