The Conservation Area property runs parallel to the Spokane River and the Spokane River Centennial Trail at the state line between Washington and Idaho. Covering a total of 7 acres on one narrow parcel contiguous with Gateway Regional Park, the property preserves open space land and riparian habitat along the river corridor.

Various types of wildlife species have been seen, including many different birds. The Conservation Area is near the most eastern Washington trailhead for the Spokane River Centennial Trail. There are facilities near the property, including parking and restrooms.

Rules

• Dogs can be disruptive to wildlife and must be kept on a leash at all times while in the conservation area.
• Motorized vehicles are not permitted in the conservation area.
• Hunting and/or shooting are not permitted at any time in the conservation area.
• No campfires are permitted in the conservation area.
