1. Who do I contact to see what my property taxes will be?

The Treasurer's Office can answer tax billing questions, and can be reached at 509-477-4713.

2. Where do I go to post bond/bail?

Contact District Court, 1st Floor, Public Safety Building or the Superior Court Clerk, Room 300 of the Spokane County Courthouse, 509-477-2211.

3. How do I obtain copies of documents from a court file?

You can obtain copies of documents both in person and by mail. There are fees for this service. For full information, please see the

4. What do I do if I've been called for Jury Duty?

If you have been summoned for jury duty, please visit the Jury Service page on the Superior Court website for more information.

5. Where do I get a concealed weapons permit?

Apply for concealed pistol licenses (CPL) at the Police Records information window in the Public Safety Building, 1100 West Mallon Avenue, Spokane. The building is located behind the historic County Courthouse on W. Broadway Ave. 

6. How do I request birth & death certificates?

Birth and death certificates can be requested from the Spokane Regional Health District.

7. How do I get married by a Judge?

For District Court:

Marriage Ceremonies are performed by specific Judges of the District Court. These ceremonies are performed after 5 p.m. on non-holiday weekdays. Judges are also available to perform ceremonies on weekends and holidays.  For more information, please visit and fill out a Wedding Information Form. 

For Superior Court:

All Superior Court Judges and Court Commissioners are authorized by law to perform marriage ceremonies. You can contact the judicial officer of your choice individually or Superior Court Commissioners. If you do not have a preference as to a judicial officer, call 509-477-5784 or email scheduleweddings@gmail.com.
