SPOKANE COUNTY, April 12, 2018 – Grab life by the handlebars and start pedaling! The annual Spokane Bike Swap is Saturday, April 14th at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center - and the proceeds will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest.
Bike Swap is a one-stop-shop for you to sell, upgrade and buy new or used bicycles and accessories. From bikes for kids to tandems and tri-bikes, great deals await. Over 1,000 used bikes are expected in the Bike Corral consignment area.
Those interested in selling a bike can register their bike online at www.spokanebikeswap.com. Registering early will help expedite bike check-in on Friday, April 13th from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Bike registration is $5.00 and payable when you check in your bike on Friday - and it will be waived if you donate your bike. We need kids' bikes too! For all bikes that sell, a 10% consignment fee will be assessed.
The goal of Bike Swap is to enhance the biking community by providing an inclusive venue with affordable bicycles that can be used for recreation, health, fitness and transportation.
Over 60 exhibitors will be at this great community event! Local bike shops, including the Bike Hub, Bicycle Butler, Wheel Sport, North Division Bicycle Shop, North West Recumbent Cycles, Fitness Fanatics, VeloFix and more, will be on hand with competitively priced bikes and accessories. In addition, people can connect with local bike clubs, biking events, learn how to put their bike on a STA bus and much more.
