Road Construction and Maintenance Update

SPOKANE COUNTY, December 20, 2019 – During snow events, you can track the progress of our crews by going to www.spokanecounty.org/publicworks and clicking on the "Snow Plow Activity Map".

 
CONSTRUCTION AND CLOSURES
 
Euclid Rd Bridge Closure
Access to Euclid Rd Bridge is closed and a detour route is in place. The bridge is the property of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and they are responsible for repairs or replacement.
 
   Euclid Rd: from Bridge #1508 Over BNSF to Lyons Rd
   ROAD CLOSED.
 
Geiger Boulevard - Hayford Road to Soda Road
Improvement of Geiger Road, roadway excavation, curb, drywells, signing, and signals. Completed 4/30/2020.
 
   Hayford Rd: from 53rd Av to Geiger Bv
   Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open while shoulder   work continues. There is a four-way stop at Geiger & Hayford until the signal is operational.
 
   Geiger Bv: from Hayford Rd to Thomas Mallen Rd
   Flaggers may be present (both directions, all lanes). The road is open while shoulder work continues. There is a four-way stop at Geiger & Hayford until the signal is operational.
 
   Geiger Bv: from Thomas Mallen Rd to Soda Rd
   Road Closed to through traffic till spring 2020. Detour using Hayford, 53rd
and Electric. Amazon access via Thomas Mallen & Geiger.

ROCKWOOD AT WHITWORTH PHASE 1
ROCKWOOD AT WHITWORTH PHASE 1 - TO INCLUDE ROUGH & FINE GRADING,
SEWIER AND WATER INSTALLATION, UTILITIES, STORM DRAINAGE, DRIVEWAY,
SIDEWALK, CURB & GUTTER INSTALLATION PER APPROVED PLANS
 
   Mayberry Dr: from Hawthorne Rd to Humboldt Dr
   ROAD CLOSED until 04/01/2020
