[ARCHIVED] Detective Asks for Your Help Identifying this Female

Detective Asks for Your Help Identifying this Female

A Spokane County Sheriff’s Investigative Task Force (ITF) Detective would like your help identifying the female suspect in these photos.  The female is believed to have fraudulently cashed counterfeit checks using a victim’s information gleaned from stolen checks.

On January 26, 2017, a victim reported he had learned some checks used to make payments were stolen from his outgoing mail.  Those checks were not cashed but after examining his banking information, the victim learned several unauthorized checks had been written against his account.  The counterfeit checks had been printed using his bank account information and fraudulently cashed at local businesses.

The female in these pictures, taken from store surveillance video, is believed to have used these counterfeit checks and ITF Detective Meyer is asking for your help identifying her.

If you can help identify the female in these photos or provide information regarding these incidents, you are asked to call Detective Meyer at 509-477-3159 reference case number 2017-10010830.
