DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: A Proposed Wetland Buffer Adjustment to allow the construction of a private driveway to serve a future residence through a delineated Category IV wetland, the removal of diseased upland trees, and construction of a future home, well, septic and utilities. LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: The subject site is generally located approximately 0.3 miles north of the intersection of W. Sunset Highway and S. Grove Rd. adjacent and west of Grove Rd., in Section 22, Township 25 North, Range 42 EWM, Spokane County, Washington.
LEAD AGENCY: Spokane County Building and Planning Department
DETERMINATION: The lead agency has determined that the proposal does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment as conditioned and as regulated under the present local and State regulations and is issuing a Determination of Non-significance (DNS). This decision was made after review of a completed Environmental Checklist and other information (adopted policies, plans, regulations and added conditions, etc.) on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for at least 14 days from the date issued (below). Comments and appeals regarding this DNS must be submitted by December 22, 2016, if they are intended to alter the DNS.
