[ARCHIVED] Volunteers NEEDED for Care Cars. Can you help?

Care Cars

Care Cars is a volunteer transportation service for seniors and disabled individuals who cannot use other transportation options to reach essential medical appointments.  To find out if you are eligible for transportation, please call Elder Services at 509-458-7450. You must be 18 years of age or older, be in need of assistance, and have no other means of transportation.

To be a Care Cars driver you must be 18 or older, have a valid Washington driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and insurance. Volunteers are screened for compatibility and receive training in communication, community resources, and aging and disability issues. Drivers are reimbursed for mileage.
