[ARCHIVED] Burn Ban lifted on Friday, October 6, 2023.

Burn Ban Restrictions Lifted Friday, October 6th

The burn restrictions that were implemented June 30th, will be rescinded at one-minute after midnight on Friday, October 6, 2023.  Outdoor recreational fires, including campfires, will be allowed to resume throughout all unincorporated areas of Spokane County, cities of Spokane and Spokane Valley.  Citizens may also use backyard barbecues, chimineas, portable outdoor fireplaces, fire pits or other patio/deck warmers, if approved fuel is used and other requirements are satisfied.

PLEASE NOTE:  Burning may be temporarily restricted by the Spokane Clean Air Agency due to increasing fine particle levels (smoke) and air stagnation.  Check the status at https://www.spokanecleanair.org/currentburningconditions.  Department of Natural Resource (DNR) lands may also have burn restrictions in place and should be consulted prior to burning activities at www.dnr.wa.gov
