SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Disaster Assistance Center has been providing information and resources to people impacted by the Gray Road and Oregon Road wildfires since August 25, 2023, and is scheduled to close this Friday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
With the Disaster Assistance Center closing, people affected by the wildfires can contact the represented organizations directly. Please visit Spokane County Emergency Management website for the contact information for the agencies and organizations.
We want to thank all the volunteers that staffed the Disaster Assistance Center along with the agencies and organizations for partnering with us, to provide in-person information, services, and support to those impacted by the wildfires in our area.
The Disaster Assistance Center at 3305 West Whistalks Way, Spokane WA, 99224, is located at Building #9 on the Spokane Falls Community College campus.
The Center will remain open the rest of this week during the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Spokane County continues to work closely with local, state, and federal partners to aid active response efforts and to help people in Spokane County with their recovery.
