The public is invited to celebrate the completion of the Hawthorne West Road and Stormwater Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. The celebration will be at the intersection of Hawthorne and Ivanhoe, across from the main entrance to Whitworth University.
This project was a collaborative partnership that features stormwater and safety improvements made possible with funding from the Transportation Improvement Board and the State Department of Ecology.
So please join the Spokane County Board of Commissioners, Whitworth President Beck Taylor, representatives from the Transportation Improvement Board and the Washington State Department of Ecology as we celebrate the completion of a great project!
