PROJECT NAME:  Spokane County Connor Road Bridge #4404 Replacement

NOTICE OF APPLICATION DATE:  July 29, 2022

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Spokane County Public Works is proposing to remove the weight restricted timber bridge and pilings and replace with a modular steel bridge and steel piles.

PROJECT LOCATION:  Bridge #4404 is located on E Connor Rd, approx. 100’ west of Sands Rd in Valleyford, WA. Section 32 Township 24N Range 44E WM (Spokane County, WA).

PROJECT APPLICANT:  Matt Zarecor - 509-477-3600

SEPA ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: Spokane County has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS). This determination is based on the following findings and conclusions:

Environmental Review of this project has shown no potential for significant negative impacts as a result of construction. Best Management Practices will be used on site to mitigate minor impacts from  construction. Spokane County will obtain all required permits from local and state agencies and comply with any conditions associated with these permits.  The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project.
