[ARCHIVED] Sprague Avenue Closed, between Sullivan and Conklin, to All Traffic due to a Downed Power Pole

Sprague Avenue Closed, between Sullivan and Conklin, to All Traffic due to a Downed Power Pole

Spokane Valley Deputies and Traffic Unit Investigators are at the scene of a one vehicle/power pole crash in the 15800 block of E. Sprague Avenue.  Power lines are sagging due to the pole's damage, causing the closure of Sprague in both directions, between Sullivan Road and Conklin Road.

The crash is being investigated, but the initial information indicates the driver’s injuries appear minor, and impairment is not believed to be a factor.

Please avoid the area.  This portion of Sprague is estimated to be closed for the next hour or two while crews repair the pole and the crash is investigated.
