Deputies Respond to Possible Accidental Shooting

 

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible accidental shooting that may have resulted from a neighbor target shooting.    

 

On March 11, 2022, at approximately 2:00 pm, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported possible shooting in the 6800 block of S. Assembly Road.  The caller explained her husband was outside while their neighbors were target shooting, and she believes her husband may have been accidentally shot.

 

Deputies arrived and contacted the adult male victim who had an injury to his upper torso.  He was conscious and alert and received medical treatment before being transported to a hospital.  

 

Deputies have contacted the neighbors and Detectives will be assisting as this investigation continues.

 

No one has been arrested as Investigators work to determine what occurred.
