Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Lateral Deputy  

 

On Monday, January 17, 2022, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in and welcomed a new Lateral Deputy.  Please help us welcome Deputy Spiewak to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and our Community.  

 

Deputy Dan Spiewak is 35-years-old and a Lateral Deputy from the King County Sheriff’s Office, where he has served since 2016.  During his time with the King County Sheriff's Office, he worked patrol and was a SWAT Team member.  Prior, he worked with the Seattle Police Department from 2014.  Deputy Spiewak is a United States Marine Corps Veteran, serving from 2004-2008, including two deployments to Iraq. 

 

We welcome Deputy Spiewak to the Sheriff’s Office and Spokane County.
