Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Deputy

 

On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Spokane County Undersheriff/Spokane Valley Police Chief David Ellis swore in and welcomed our newest Deputy, Sebastien Vandenberghe.

 

Deputy Sebastien Vandenberghe is 44-years-old and originally from France, where he was formerly employed by the Regie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP) as a Security Officer in the Paris Metro System.  He speaks four languages, has an extensive background in mixed martial arts, and has also been a part-time actor and stuntman since 2009, appearing in over 40 television series and feature movies.   Deputy Vandenberghe is scheduled to attend the Basic Law Enforcement Academy starting February 1, 2022.
