
Sheriff’s Office Welcomes Two Entry Level and Two Lateral Deputies
On December 1, 2021, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in and welcomed our newest Deputies, two Entry Level Deputies, and two Lateral Deputies. Please help us welcome them to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Ian Baily is 35-years-old and a Lateral Deputy who comes to us from the Hemet Police Department in California. He grew up in Riverside County, California, and has served with the Hemet Police Department for thirteen years, including invaluable experience as a Patrol Officer, Gang Detective, Corporal, SWAT Team Member, and a Sergeant.
Deputy Devan McGraw is 25-years-old, grew up in Goldendale, Washington, and is an Entry Level Deputy. He honorably served with the United States Navy on active duty from 2017 to 2021 and continues his service as a Reservist. He was previously employed with Oxarc in Pasco, Washington.
Deputy Lupita Tejeda is 27 years old, from Wenatchee, Washington and an Entry Level Deputy. She was previously employed with the Chelan County Juvenile Detention Center/CRC. She earned a BA degree from Central Washington University in Law and Justice and an AA degree in Criminal Justice from Wenatchee Valley College.
Deputy Edward “Eddie” Tomsik is 38-years-old and a Lateral Deputy from the Olympia Police Department. He worked in the trades for several years prior to starting his law enforcement career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office in 2013 before lateraling to the Olympia Police Department in 2016.
