Deputies Work to Investigate School Threat
Spokane Valley Deputies and the University High School Resource Deputy are working to identify and locate the person who posted a threat toward University High School on social media. We are working closely with School Administrators as this investigation continues.
Spokane Valley Deputies received information regarding on online social media threat toward University High School. The University High School Resource Deputy was advised, and he alerted school staff.
This remains an active investigation, and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 or contact University High School Resource Deputy Skye Ortiz.
We will continue to work together with University High School Administrators who have decided, for the safety of students and staff, to close the school today as this investigation continues.
