[ARCHIVED] 2021 Public Budget Roundtables

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Board of County Commissioners intends to hold three public roundtable/hearings on the proposed 2022 Budget in addition to a final budget hearing to be separately noticed and held in December 2021. The following three public roundtable/hearings will allow the public to observe and participate in the Board of County Commissioners’ 2022 Budget process: 

October 12, 2021, at 2:00 P.M.
A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the 2022 budget revenue estimates and time allotted for public testimony. 

October 26, 2021, at 2:00 P.M.
A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the 2022 budget expenditure estimates and time allotted for public testimony. 

November 15, 2021, at 2:00 P.M.  
A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the 2022 budget totals and time allotted for public testimony.  

Citizens may join virtually on the dates and times listed above to present testimony. To ensure that everyone virtually attending the public roundtable/hearings has an opportunity to speak, testimony may be limited to three minutes per speaker. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to adjust the time frame allotted to speakers as well as hearing procedures during the public hearing. Requests to provide testimony should be sent to Ginna Vasquez, Clerk of the Board at [email protected] or (509) 477-2268 no later than 10:00 a.m. before the date/time of the scheduled public roundtable/hearings.
