[ARCHIVED] Liberty Lake Regional Park Campground Season Extended

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Spokane County Parks, Recreation, & Golf department announced today that an additional camping weekend has been opened for Friday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 2 at the popular Liberty Lake Regional Park Campground to finish out the 2021 season.

This camping and recreation area has been popular this summer, with campground occupancy even higher than the high rate of use in the summer of 2020.

“We’ve seen a higher number of RV, tent, and cabin stays every month this summer when compared to the same months last year,” shared Sarah Fitzgerald, Recreation Manager.  “Since most of our weekends this summer were sold out, we are happy to be able to offer the community a few additional nights of camping at the beginning of October.  We are also grateful to our amazing Camp Hosts for being willing to stay a few extra nights to make this possible.”

The County campground boasts 4 rental cabins, 16 standard RV sites, 3 premium RV sites, 8 tents sites, and 1 group tent site; many of which are still available for reservation on the county website for Friday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct 2.

Even though the campground season dates have been extended, the entry booth will close for the season on Sept. 30 as previously planned.  Park guests can enjoy the day use areas of Liberty Lake Regional Park with no entry fee beginning Friday, Oct. 1.

Visit the Spokane County Parks, Recreation, and Golf website or contact the campground directly to make reservations.
