4 New Deputies Join the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in and welcomed four new Deputies who are beginning their law enforcement careers.

Deputy Travis Moser is 42-years-old, a Spokane native, and a graduate of Mead High School.  He previously served our community for the last 13 years as a Spokane County Detention Services Corrections Officer.

Deputy Nicolas Pittman is 24-years-old and grew up in Medical Lake and Spokane Valley before moving with his family to southern California.  He attended Central Valley High School for one year before their move and graduated from El Camino High School in Oceanside.  Before joining the Sheriff’s Office, he was previously employed as a BNSF Train Conductor for four years.

Deputy Christopher Sagely is 28-years-old and was raised in a law enforcement family in southern California.  He grew up racing motocross and enjoys building bikes in his spare time.  Previously, he was employed as an Operations Manager for the Guitar Center in Oxnard, California.

Deputy Thomas “Ross” Wilbanks is 42-years-old, was raised in a military family, and frequently moved while growing up. He is a veteran and honorably served in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army for over 24 years.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Please help us welcome Deputy Moser, Deputy Pittman, Deputy Sagely, Deputy Wilbanks, and their families to the Sheriff’s Office and our community.
