
Woman Assaulted by Male, Can You Help Identify?
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a female who was assaulted by an unknown male.

On August 29, 2021, at approximately 11:35 pm, a Spokane County Deputy contacted an adult female assault victim who had been transported to a hospital by a family member. The Deputy noted the victim’s injuries were consistent with being struck as she described.
The victim stated an unknown male approached her near the entrance of Duvall Hall at Whitworth College. She briefly spoke with the man but became uneasy and began to back away from him. The suspect struck her 3 or 4 times as she screamed for help. The male left the scene as others came to the victim’s aid.
The male suspect is described as a black male, late 30’s to early 40’s, wearing a dark blue polo shirt and dark pants. Continuing, she stated the suspect was of average height, a little overweight, and bald. She did not believe the suspect had facial hair.
The area was searched, but no one matching the description of the suspect was located. The assault is believed to have occurred just before 11:00 pm when the initial 911 call was received.
