SPOKANE COUNTY, August 18, 2021– Spokane County’s Northside and Southside Family Aquatic Facilities will close for the season at the end-of-day (5:30 PM) this Sunday, August 22nd.
Tickets for both aquatic facilities this weekend are still available to purchase on our website (https://www.spokanecounty.org/4938/Public-Swim) and guests are encouraged to secure a reservation online since only a limited number of walk-up tickets are available each day/session. Session time for each day are11:00-2:00pm or 2:30-5:30pm.
Spokane County Parks, Recreation, and Golf would like to thank the residents of Spokane County and those that visited either aquatic facilities for the patience and understanding everyone had this year as staff worked hard to keep these facilities open during this unprecedented time
Spokane County Recreation Program Manager, Sarah Fitzgerald shared, “We are so delighted to have been able to open for the community this summer despite all the various challenges that this year has brought us. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding and compliance as we navigated the ever-changing COVID-19 guidelines specific to water recreational facilities. Thank you to all of you who paid us a visit already this year, and for those that haven’t there’s still a few days left to swim with us before we see you again in 2022.”
