ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Bigelow Gulch Phase 3

Chattaroy CTB
Crews are pulverizing the existing pavement and using Portland cement Type 2, spreading and mixing and other work. Completed: August 31, 2021.
From US2 to Elk-Chattaroy/Hardesty Intersection – Fully CLOSED on July 19, 2021 (local traffic only).
Motorists should expect delays. Flaggers and a pilot car may be present. Please slow-down in the work zone.
Forker Road Culvert Replacement - 1/2 mile South of SR206
The culvert under the road is being replaced and a modular steel bridge installed. Completed: August 31, 2021.

Frideger Road Bridge Replacement
The road is CLOSED while the existing bridge is being removed for the construction of a new structure over the Little Spokane River. The project includes the removal of the existing roadway and widening with the construction of the new roadway. Completed: October 31, 2021.

Eller Corporation (208-405-0238) crew is installing a 4-inch SDR-35 PVC Side Sewer service that will tie into the existing 8-inch sewer stub on E. Grace Road from N. Carnahan to N. Chronicle Rd. Completed: August 7, 2021.

Morrison Ranch Phase 2 – ROAD CLOSED
Red Diamond Construction (509-990-5426) crew is realigning south Barker Road at 32nd Avenue. The project includes grading and paving. Completed: August 13, 2021.
32nd Av: from Barker Rd to Saltese Lake Rd
Road Closed: E. Saltese Rd. at 32nd Avenue and S. Barker Rd. approximately 1,500-feet east of the intersection.
Needham Hill at West Terrace – ROAD CLOSED
Ground Tek Excavation (509-334-9757) crew is doing misc. work in the right-of-way. The project includes asphalt paving and grading, fire hydrant, and excavation. The site is located on south Hayford Road from 7700 to 8000 to the south of west Richland. Completed: August 12, 2021.
Hayford Rd: from Richland Rd to Melville Rd
Road Closed: Hayford Rd is closed at Richland – detours are in place: Westbow to Aero Rd. and Melville to Thomas Mallen.

Fog Sealing
Fog Sealing is the application of a thin, quick-drying oil over the top of the chip seal. This preserves the integrity of the road. Dates: August 9-13, 2021.

Pavement Removal & Asphalt Overlay - One Day CLOSURE from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Crews will cut and remove deteriorated sections of asphalt down to base rock and rebuild sections and complete an asphalt overlay. Date: August 9, 2021.
