[ARCHIVED] PPE Distribution Event for Small Businesses and Non-profits

SPOKANE COUNTY, June 14, 2021– Spokane County is once again holding free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) distribution events to assist small businesses and non-profits continue operations to keep employees and the public safe. Spokane County utilized CARES Act funds to purchase the PPE.  

 

These free distribution events, called OPENTogether PPE Distribution provide small businesses with 249 and fewer employees and non-profits of any size, with PPE supplies, including hand sanitizer, disinfecting cleaner, and both disposable and cloth facial coverings. 

 

What:              Free Distribution of PPE for Small Businesses and Non-Profits

Location:        Spokane County Fairgrounds, 404 N Havana Street, Spokane Valley

Date(s):           Tuesday, June 22nd and Wednesday, June 23rd

Time:               9 am – 3 pm

Register:         Businesses with 249 and fewer employees and non-profits of any size must register prior to pick-up. (https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6373067/PPEDistJune2021)

 

Chair of the Spokane County Board of Commissioners, Josh Kerns stated, “Spokane County remains committed to helping support our local businesses and non-profits with the mission to being fully re-open by June 30th.  Providing an additional supply of PPE will assist our local organizations with providing a safe environment for workers, customers, and volunteers.”
