Missing/Runaway Juvenile Female – Leah J. Karns
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate 15-year-old Leah J. Karns. Karns has been reported as a runaway and has threatened self-harm in the recent past. Attempts to locate Leah J. Karns have been unsuccessful, and we are asking for the public’s help.

On June 10, 2021, Leah J. Karns was reported as a runaway. Her mother said Leah left their home after an argument and has not returned. Leah has made self-harm threats, has injured herself, and engages in behavior her mother believes puts Leah at great risk.
Leah’s mom is very concerned for Leah’s safety and has received information Leah was seen at the Valley Mall, downtown Spokane asking strangers for money and hanging around with different adults.
Leah J. Karns is described as a 15-year-old white female, approximately 5’04”, 130 lbs., with dark brown/black hair and hazel eyes.
