
UPDATE: Chattaroy Quick Stop Burglary Arrests
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit Detectives, with the aid of several tips from our community, identified some of the suspects involved in the May 18, 2021, burglary of the Chattaroy Quick Stop. The four suspects stole an estimated $15,000-$20,000 worth of tobacco and vape products during the theft and caused over an estimated $1,000 in damage.
Detective Hixson applied for and was granted a search warrant for an apartment located in the 2800 block of N. Cherry.
Early this morning, with the assistance of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Service Group, Spokane Valley Police Investigative Unit Detectives, and Spokane Valley Patrol Deputies, the search warrant was served. Three suspects were arrested based on probable cause and booked into the Spokane County Jail in connection with the ongoing investigation.
As this burglary investigation continues, additional arrests are expected, and additional charges are possible.

Additionally, anyone who may have helped the suspects before or after the burglary is encouraged to call Crime Check and identify themselves.

Braden G. Waters: 22, charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 1st Degree
Joleigh C. Waters: 19, charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 1st Degree
Patrick J. Mackey: 18, charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 1st Degree
