[ARCHIVED] Here are some pictures from this year’s HOLIDAYS & HEROES event held last Sunday

PR-M

Here are some pictures from this year’s HOLIDAYS & HEROES event held last Sunday!!

Yes, with all the COVID mandates, it was challenging to figure out a way we could safely help families in need during this Holiday Season.  Still, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Explorers, Spokane Valley Police, Spokane County Detention Services Officers, and Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies would not let this stop Holidays and Heroes.

We know our Community is struggling, now more than ever, and although different, they figured out a way to help our children and their families.

Holidays and Heroes has been a yearly event in Spokane County for nearly 20 years and even longer in Kootenai County, Idaho.  Spending time with children and families who need a little help to have a Merry Christmas and a Joyful Holiday Season is always a fun and rewarding time for all!

Holidays & Heroes continues to be successful in Spokane County due to the hard work and dedication of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Explorers, Deputy Chris Young, Deputy Lorenz Mina, and Detective Brad Humphrey.

Most of all, it’s success is a credit to you, our Community, and businesses for their support and generous donations.

We want to thank these specific businesses for their support of Holidays & Heroes, ensuring the program’s success.
