SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Board of County Commissioners intends to hold three public roundtable/hearings on the proposed 2021 Budget in addition to a final budget hearing to be separately noticed and held in December 2020. The following three public roundtable/hearings will allow the public to observe and participate in the Board of County Commissioners’ 2021 Budget process:
Oct. 13, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the 2021 budget submittals by county elected officials and county departments and dialogue regarding the presentation.
Oct. 27, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the decisions made by the Board of County Commissioners after the 1st public roundtable/hearing and take public testimony on the presentation.
Nov. 10, 2020, at 2:00 P.M. A presentation by the Spokane County Budget Office on the decisions made by the Board of County Commissioners after the 2nd public roundtable/hearing and take public testimony.
Citizens may join virtually on the dates and times listed above to present testimony. To ensure that everyone virtually attending the public roundtable/hearings has an opportunity to speak, testimony may be limited to three minutes per speaker. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to adjust the time frame allotted to speakers as well as hearing procedures during the public hearing.
