Geiger Blvd – Soda to Grove Rd
Geiger Blvd. is CLOSED from Soda to Electric – however local businesses remain open. Crews are removing the existing roadway. The project includes new drywells, asphalt, signing and pavement markings. Completed: 11/30/2020.
Geiger Bv: from Soda Rd to Spokane City Limits (Electric Ave)
Motorists should use an alternate route. Electric Avenue is open. Thomas Mallon is open. Please slow down and use extreme caution when travelling inside the work zone.
North Kentuck Trail
Crew is repairing bridge scour damage. Completed: 10/30/2020.
North Kentuck Trails Rd: from West Bradshaw Rd to Keevy Rd
Motorists should expect delays in both directions and all lanes. Watch for flaggers north of Bradshaw Road.
Pine Bluff Bridge #2609
Starting on October 12, 2020, crew will be stabilizing the Coulee Creek slopes below the bridge, installing short cast-in-place concrete walls that are anchored to the bedrock at the base of the slopes, placing shotcrete on the slopes with soil/rock anchors, and anchoring the habitat. Completed: 11/30/2020.
Pine Bluff Rd: from Seven Mile Rd to Carlson Rd
Motorists should expect delays in both directions and all lanes, slow down and watch for flaggers..
PRIVATE CONTRACTOR WORK BY PERMIT
Aerial and Underground Coax Installation
Comcast is using Sefnco Communications (509-532-8308) for an Aerial and Underground Coax Cable installation. The project includes mounting a new 5/16-inche strand with .875 Coax. The work will start at 1107 E. Chantell Dr. and continue north to 1001 E. Hastings Rd. Completed: 10/19/2020.

Aerial Cable Installation – Marguerite Rd
Work is being done by Quanta Telecom (713-629-7600) on the east side of Marguerite Rd from Upriver Dr to Maringo Dr and then 138-feet and another 603-feet on the north side of Maringo Dr from Marguerite Rd to Argonne Rd. Completed: 10/6/2020.

Bore and Place 2” Conduit
Comcast is using Sefnco Communications (509-532-8308) to bore approximately 2,374-feet of two-inch conduit on the west side of Wandermere to the east side going north to Elto Rd., then north on Gleneden St to Eastview St. Completed: 10/16/2020.

Dig and Install Pole
Beginning on October 6, 2020, an Avista (509-725-4200) crew will dig and install a pole. Completed: 10/07/2020.
Market St.: from Wilding Av. to Lincoln Rd.
Flaggers may be present in both directions and all lanes. Usual short-term traffic stop as they run a conductor across Market St. Motorists should slow down when traveling through the work zone.
Installation of New Poles
Avista (509-725-4200) is installing new poles along the east and west side of Shady Slope Rd. between Winger Rd. and Leona Dr. Completed: 10/9/2020.

Street Widening and Improvements
MJM Grand Excavation (509-244-4733) is working on street widening and other improvements on the east side of Assembly, approximately 10-feet south of Deska Dr. to a point 895-feet of Deska Dr (Only the north portion is located in Spokane County. The south portion is located in the City of Spokane.). Completed: 10/6/2020.
Assembly Rd: from Deska Dr to Spokane City Limits.
Road Closure. Northbound traffic will be detoured, southbound traffic will be unrestricted. Motorists should slow down in the work zone.

Euclid Rd Bridge Closure
Euclid Rd Bridge is closed and a detour is in place. Replacing the bridge is the responsibility of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
