ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Bigelow Gulch Phase 5
Progress road is closed for excavation. Completed: 9/30/2020.
Progress Rd: from Forker Rd to Forker Rd
The road is closed and a detour is in place.
Blanchard Creek Road Culvert Replacement
The existing culvert is being replaced. The work includes the removal of existing culverts and building a new structure over Blanchard Creek. Completed: 10/31/2020.
One lane is open. Motorists should expect delays due to flaggers using the roadway or work on the shoulders.
Geiger Blvd-Soda to Grove Rd
The project includes new drywells, asphalt, signage and pavement markings. Completed: 11/30/2020.
Geiger Blvd. from Soda to Grove Rd. is under construction.
Hazard Road Drainage Improvements
The project includes demolishing the old pavement, excavation for water/pollution control, and redoing the ditches. Completed: 10/30/2020.
Hazard Rd: from Dalton Rd to Dalton Rd
The impacted roads will have one lane open during the day – and two lanes open at night. Motorists should be prepared for possible delays during the day and watch for flaggers.

Build strand and overlash P3-625 from pole #175885 at 5718 N Malvern Rd to pole #400885 at 5717 N Malvern Rd, build 2-inche riser on pole #400885 to service 5615 N Malvern Rd. Completed: 8/21/2020.
Malvern Rd: from Joseph Av to Joseph Av
There are lane restrictions in the southbound lane and the shoulder is closed on the west side of Malvern Rd south of Joseph. Motorists should expect delays and watch for flaggers.
Culvert installation across Cheney-Spokane Rd at Fish Lake.
A culvert is being installed across Cheney-Spokane Rd at Fish Lake between Meili Lane and Myers Park Rd. Completed: 8/27/2020.

Greenridge Water System and Booster Station Improvements
Halme Construction (509-725-4200) project includes the installation of a water system, approach, sidewalk, tree trimming/removal, paving/grading the road crossing on Greenridge Drive to the west of Idaho Rd. from 1506 S. Greenridge to 799 N. Greenridge. Completed: 8/18/2020.

The road is closed.
Liberty Lake Eastside Water Improvements
Halme Construction (509-725-4200) is replacing the water line on Neyland. Completed: 9/30/2020.
Neyland Rd: from Lakeside Rd to Gage St
Road closed for water line replacement.
Install new Riser and Trench Conduit
Sefnco Communications (509-532-8308) is installing a new riser and trench conduit for Comcast. The work is being done 171-feet to the edge of the driveway and a new pedestrian feature is approximately 4,130-feet east of Harvard Road on the north side of Morris Road. Completed: 8/31/2020.

There are lane restrictions in both directions. Motorists should expect delays, slow down, and please watch for flaggers and spotters.
Sewer Installation for SP-1637-19 – Full Road Closure
Hattenburg Excavating, Inc. (509-466-3478) is installing a sewer on the north-side of Farwell Rd, approximately 1,090-feet west of Perry St. This requires the road to be completely closed! Completed: 8/20/2020.
Underground Cable Installation
Work is being done by Quanta Telecom (713-629-7600). An underground cable installation of approximately 107-feet. Work will go south on the west side of Harvard. Completed 8/28/2020.

There will be lane restrictions and the shoulder will be closed.
