Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle fatality crash in the area of West Medical Lake Four Lakes Road and South Granite Lake Road at approximately 3:45 p.m., in West Spokane County.
When deputies arrived, they located a vehicle off the side of West Medical Lake Four Lakes Road. The adult female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle had been ejected and was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Traffic Collision Technicians are responding to the scene to continue the investigation. Techs will be investigating to see if the vehicle involved in this crash is the same vehicle reported earlier (3:35 p.m.) as a reckless driver who was reportedly driving off the road and into oncoming lanes in the area of West Medical Lake Four Lakes Road and South Craig Road.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the victim at a later time, when appropriate to do so.
