FREE Washington State Boater Education Classes

With spring upon us, bringing thoughts of sun and warmer temperatures coupled with the opening day of the fishing season fast approaching, excitement is growing to get out and enjoy our beautiful lakes and waterways.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit Deputies want to see you out enjoying our waterways, but they want you to do so safely and legally.

So you’re invited by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit to attend one of their scheduled FREE Washington State Boater Education Classes.

Effective January 1, 2014, every person born after January 1, 1955, is required to have the Boater Education Card to operate any vessel with 15 or more horsepower. This applies to Washington State residents operating vessels on Washington waterways.
