UPDATED LOCATION: Due to water damage at Deer Park High School, this event location has been moved and the time adjusted slightly.  The new location is the First Baptist Church at 1205 E. Crawford, Deer Park WA 99006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. This new location is very close to Deer Park High School. The date is still the same, Thursday, March 14, 2019.:

Active Shooter events are on everyone’s mind.  They seem to be happening more often, and people wonder what they should do if it happens in their vicinity.  There are proven responses you can take that have saved lives!  Knowledge and planning are two of the greatest tools at your disposal to increase your chance of surviving one of these traumatic events.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Deputy David Morris will be presenting information that will give you concrete ideas on how to survive an active shooter event.
