Spokane County to Join in Observation of Presidential Order to Close Governmental Offices in Honor of President George H.W. Bush.

SPOKANE COUNTY, December 4, 2018 – In observance of an Executive Order issued by The President of the United States on December 1, 2018, most Spokane County offices will be closed this Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Most offices in the Spokane County Courthouse and Public Works Building will be closed. In addition, Veterans Services, Community Services, Parks and Recreation, and SCRAPS offices will be closed. All court services will remain open, including District and Superior Court and all departments that support the courts, which include, the Public Defender’s Office, Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office, Counsel for Defense, and the Spokane County Clerk’s office.

Emergency services will not be effected:

• To report a crime, call Crime Check at 456-2233

• Call 9-1-1 to report a life-threatening emergency or if you need an immediate response by law enforcement.
