One Vehicle Fatal Crash in Southeast Spokane County 


Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators were called to the scene of a one vehicle crash early Sunday morning. The driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

 

On December 2, 2018, at approximately 7:27 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a field near the intersection of S. Molter Rd. and E. Elder Rd. for the report of an apparent vehicle crash where the driver appeared to be deceased.   


Spokane County Fire District 11 personnel arrived and the adult male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.


Spokane County Traffic Unit Investigators responded to continue the investigation.


Investigators found the driver was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and excess speed is a contributing factor.


SIRT Team volunteers responded to assist with traffic control during the investigation.


The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the driver at a later time, when appropriate to do so.
