Human Remains Found Near Transient Camp off I-90
Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives are investigating the discovery of human remains in the area of a transient camp just off I-90, near the Hwy. 902/Medical Lake Exit.
On November 8, 2018, just prior to 10:00 a.m., Washington State Department of Transportation employees located human remains while checking on a transient camp near I-90. The remains appear to be of an adult male and are in an advanced state of decomposition.
Spokane County Major Crimes Detectives were called to the scene to conduct an investigation to determine what occurred or if any criminal activity was involved.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the decedent, along with cause and manner of death, once the remains have been positively identified and it is appropriate to do so.
