Major Crime Detectives: Can You Help Identify Robbery Suspect?
Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are working to identify this suspect who robbed the Mobil Gas Station in Spokane Valley.
On October 21, 2018, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Mobil Gas Station located at 14704 E. Sprague in Spokane Valley.
The store clerk stated the suspect, a white male, walked in the southside door. He was wearing a bright orange sweatshirt with the hood up over his head, black gloves on his hands and a mask covering most of his face. He had a brown paper bag in his hand and demanded all the money in the cash register. The clerk asked if he was serious, the suspect stated he was, apologized and handed her the paper bag.
After receiving the money, the suspect calmly walked out the same door and continued south through the parking lot, toward Adams.
The suspect never displayed a weapon but the clerk said it appeared he had one in his sweatshirt pocket and due to his mannerisms, she believed he was armed and feared for her safety if she did not cooperate.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 6’00”, with a medium/stocky build and was estimated to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He may have blue eyes and blond hair which is believed to be short because none of his hair stuck out from under his hood/mask but it was possibly pulled back, out of sight.
Deputies quickly established a perimeter and a K9 Unit searched the area but the suspect was not located.
Anyone who has information regarding this robbery or can help identify this suspect is urged to call Major Crime Detective Scott Bonney at 509-477-3125, reference #10147731.
