Fatal One Vehicle Crash in East Spokane County
Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are investigating a fatal, one vehicle crash on N. Forker Rd.
On October 19, 2018, at approximately 7:40 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 11700 block of N. Forker Rd. for the report of a vehicle with an adult female driver who appeared to be severely injured.
The initial information indicates the 59-year-old driver stopped on her long rural driveway and began to exit the vehicle. It appears the vehicle remained in gear, causing it to roll forward. She stayed with the vehicle but was unable to make it completely back inside to regain control. The vehicle continued to roll down the driveway and crash into a fence. The driver sustained severe injuries and was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
Deputies continue to investigate what appears to be a very tragic accident.
