Sheriff’s Office Crime Prevention Conference

 

October 17th, 2018

9:00- 3:40 PM

Spokane County Sheriff's Office Training Center

6011 N. Chase Rd, Newman Lake, WA


The Sheriff's Crime Prevention Unit is hosting their annual crime prevention conference. This conference is for citizens, law enforcement volunteers and students.


This year’s conference topics will be:


**The Opioid Crisis- Law enforcement, Rehab specialist and GSSAC Speak.

** Cop Talk- Come and hear from the SPD, SCSD, WSP and the Crime Check supervisor.

**Property Crimes- Current trends and ways to help combat the problem.

** Identity Theft- What it looks like, how to protect yourself and what to do if you are a victim.

** Insurance Fraud- Door to door scams, staged accident scams, medical provider solicitations and more.


The cost to attend is $15 per person, or $10 for law enforcement volunteers and students


Free continental breakfast and Lunch and materials will be provided

Payment for this informative conference is due by October 12, 2018.
