[ARCHIVED] Congratulations and Welcome New Lateral Deputies

Congratulations and Welcome New Lateral Deputies

Yesterday morning, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich swore in two new Lateral Deputies.  Both Deputies bring previous law enforcement and life experience they can use, in addition to the training provided by Sheriff’s Office Instructors/FTO’s, to serve our community with excellence.

Deputy Michael Twiggs:  Deputy Twiggs is 30-years-old and began his law enforcement career with the Seattle Police Department in 2016.   Prior to becoming a Police Officer, he worked as a BNSF locomotive electrician after serving eight years in the U.S. Air Force.

Deputy Michael Vicini:  Deputy Vicini is 27-years-old and served as a California Highway Patrol Officer (stationed out of San Jose) since 2015.  Prior to joining the highway patrol, he was employed as an EMT for three years.

Please help us welcome Deputy Twiggs and Deputy Vicini, along with their family/friends, to our community and the Sheriff’s Office.
