Yesterday afternoon, a child sexual abuse case which began in July of 2014 came to conclusion when a jury found 68-year-old Milford L. Butcher (AKA: Bear) guilty on two counts of Child Rape 1st Degree and six counts of Child Molestation 1st Degree.

In July of 2014, Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Assault Unit Detective Brandon Armstrong began to investigate several allegations of Butcher’s inappropriate behavior and touching of three young victims. At the time of the report, the victims, 2 females and 1 male, were 7 – 8 years old.

Butcher was charged in early 2015 and found guilty by a jury of Child Rape 1st Degree (2 counts) and Child Molestation 1st Degree (6 counts), yesterday afternoon.
