Notice is hereby given by the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) of Spokane County, Washington, that the Board will hold a public hearing following the 2:00 p.m. Commissioners' Consent Agenda, or as soon as possible thereafter, on the 12th day of December 2017, in the Commissioners' Assembly Room, Lower Level, Spokane County Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Avenue, Spokane, Washington.
The purpose of the public hearing will be for the BoCC to receive public testimony and determine whether or not to adopt, reject, or adopt in a revised form the "Spokane County Six-Year Sewer Construction Capital Improvement Program for 2018 through 2023" (CIP).
The purpose of the proposed CIP is to delineate the County's sewer improvement priorities and the associated expenditures; and, provide authorization to proceed with the engineering, right-of-way and property acquisition and preparation of plans/specifications for construction of capital improvements.
The proposed CIP for 2018-2023 provides a six-year project and financing summary. Proposed projects are categorized as follows:
* Wastewater Collection System Improvements
* Riverside Park Water Reclamation Facility Upgrades
* Water Reclamation Facilities Improvements
