Early Morning Robbery Suspects Flee-Can You Help Identify?

Early this morning, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 located at 3409 N. Argonne Rd. in Millwood.  One suspect was armed with a knife but the employee took the knife before the suspect fled on foot with an accomplice.  

On Tuesday August 29, 2017 at approximately 3:15 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to reported robbery at the 7-11 located at 3409 N. Argonne Rd. 

The employee stated he confronted a male suspect who was trying to conceal an energy drink behind his back.  The suspect set the drink down and began demanding money.  When the employee told the suspect to leave, he pulled a fixed blade from his pocket.  The employee grabbed the suspect’s wrist and pulled the knife from his hand.  When the suspect attempted to grab the knife back, he appeared to cut his left hand. 

The employee set the knife down in the employee area and noticed a second male enter the store.  Both suspects knocked the employee to the ground.  As one held him down, the other grabbed the cash drawer from the register.  Both suspects ran out of the store and headed west behind the building. 

Deputies set up a perimeter and a K9 Unit searched the area.  The discarded cash drawer was located in the 8900 block of E. Bridgeport.  A continuation of the search recovered a black sweatshirt believed to be worn by one of the suspects but the suspects were not located.

The employee was not injured.   

Suspect #1 is described as a bald White or Hispanic male, 5’00” - 5’04” tall with an athletic build.  At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black sweatshirt with black pants and possibly sustained a cut to his left hand.

Suspect #2 is described as bald White or Hispanic male, approximately 18-25 years-old, 5’00” - 5’04” tall with a medium build wearing similar clothing.
