Detective Asks for Your Help Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect 

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Detective Marc Melville is asking for your help identifying the armed robbery suspect in these pictures. 

On Saturday August 12, 2017, just after 3:00 a.m., Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to reported armed robbery at the Cenex Zip-Trip located at 711 W. Hastings. 

The store clerk stated the male suspect in these pictures entered the store, produced a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money and cigars.  The clerk complied with the demands and the suspect fled the store on foot toward the southeast. 

A K9 search of the area was unsuccessful. 

The male suspect is described as possibly Hispanic, approximately 5’10” with a thin build and is believed to be in his 20s.  He was wearing a distinctive multitoned, silver & gray jacket with the hood pulled over his head and cinched tight around his face, black and white tennis shoes, and light colored pants.
