County Clerk Announces Office Procedures Regarding COVID-19

The Spokane County Clerk’s Office currently remains open during our public business hours of 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday.

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - March 16, 2020 – The Spokane County Clerk’s Office currently remains open during our public business hours of 8:30-4:00 Monday-Friday.
All procedures remain in place for filing and requesting documents as well as Legal Financial Obligations (LFO) payments.
Precautions established by the Department of Health are being followed, which includes practicing the following protective measures:
 Cleaning the lobby area multiple times during the day and after we close to the public every day.
 Practicing a six-foot social distance inside our office area.
 Limiting the amount of people in the lobby at any time to seven people; anyone in excess may wait in the hallway.
 Removal of all stamps and shared items from lobby to clean it after each use.
For filing, please feel free to use the electronic stamp and file box in the hallway for all documents that DO NOT require a filing fee. For documents requiring a filing fee, visiting our finance division is still required during our public business hours.
Filings may also be sent via US Mail, FedEx, UPS, attorney messenger service, or other carrier. Paperwork will be receive-stamped as soon as it is received in our office.
The LFO Reconciliation day scheduled for April 17, 2020 is currently cancelled.
