County transfer stations remain open, ask for better social distancing

The Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System is working to maintain critical public services.

The Spokane County Regional Solid Waste System is working to maintain critical public services, like the disposal of garbage. The North County and Valley transfer stations are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Waste-to-Energy Facility is also open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While visiting a transfer station, we ask the public to maintain the recommended “Social Distancing” of six-feet when interacting with scale house staff and on the tipping floor. If you feel unwell, please stay home!
