Amendment to Section 11.20.060 - Fish and Wildlife Habitat conservation Areas, Subsection, 11.20.060(c)(d)(Performance Standards for Regulated Uses and Activities, to allow public equestrian pedestrian/bike trails in riparian buffers with a setback from the ordinary high water mark and with a specific width.
A public hearing was held by the Spokane County Planning Commission on January 27, 2011 to consider oral and written testimony both for and against a proposed amendment to the Spokane County Critical Areas Ordinance Section 11.20.060 - Fish and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Areas and Subsection 11.20.060(c)(d) - Performance Standards for Regulated Uses and Activities, to allow public equestrian pedestrian/bike trails in riparian buffers with a setback from the ordinary high water mark and with a specific width.
This amendment was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners through
Resolution No. 11-0278 (PDF) on March 22, 2011 and is reflected in Section 11.20.060(c)(d) of the Critical Areas Ordinance.
